Excavation Construction Responsibilities
Tasks
Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings Participate in field surveys, inspections or technical investigations Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates Prepare engineering designs and drawingsSupervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations and testing of construction materials Provide consultation services to government and other organizations Maintain work records and logs Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance and safety activities Computer and technology knowledge
CAE - computer-aided engineering AutoCAD MS Access MS Excel MS Outlook MS PowerPoint MS Project MS Word Primavera Area of work experience
Project coordination Buildings and structures Drainage and irrigation system Water control system and structures Transportation/travel information
Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities
Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Handling heavy loads Ability to distinguish between colours Combination of sitting, standing, walking Standing for extended periods Personal suitability
