Math and Science Instructor for Teens, Coquitlam

In this hands-on role, you will teach students in grades 9-12 after school and during some evenings or weekends. It’s essential to connect with multiple students at varying levels, utilizing effective communication and multitasking skills. A commitment until June, with potential summer work, will set candidates apart.

Key Responsibilities:• Teach in-person and online sessions for up to 3 students • Adhere to teaching methods from Oxford Learning • Provide post-lesson documentation on student progress • Engage in daily updates with families about students • Maintain a welcoming and supportive classroom environment

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education • Proven experience teaching/tutoring math and science • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • In-depth knowledge of senior curriculum in math and science • Ability to effectively manage multiple learners
