ATCO Frontec is looking for a skilled 1st Cook for its Camp Services at Artemis Blackwater Mine. Focus on exceptional meal preparation and kitchen operations in a remote setting. In this pivotal role, the 1st Cook supports the Chef in executing meal services while ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. You will manage food inventory and train staff, all while fostering a cooperative kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in managing and preparing meals for guests • Conduct inventory control and order food supplies • Supervise kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness standards • Assign duties and responsibilities within the team • Inspect for regulatory compliance and safety procedures Requirements: • 3–4 years of 1st Cook experience in restaurants or hotels • Required Advanced Food Protected Certificate • Valid CSTS and First Aid training • Solid organizational and leadership skills • Ability to thrive under pressure Contribute to high-quality dining service as a 1st Cook with ATCO Frontec in a supportive camp setting.
