MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR (Coquitlam)

SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 43 (COQUITLAM) MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR

Temporary Full Time (40 hrs/week) We are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to work within the Maintenance Department. The district is the third largest in B.C. with 32,000 students and about 4,300 staff. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Operations/Manager of Maintenance and is responsible for coordinating the technical work and performing drafting duties in the Facilities Department.Qualifications

Construction Technology Diploma from a recognized college/institution Knowledge of the methods, materials and specifications involved in renovation, repair and construction of buildings, facilities and grounds Blueprint reading and CAD/D systems Or other related post‑secondary certificate program followed by one‑year related experienceKnowledge of cost accounting statistics One year of architectural drafting experience Applicants must successfully complete two criminal record checks prior to hiring. Hours: 40 hours per week (8:00am to 4:30pm). Pay rate: $34.51 per hour + 16% in lieu of benefits.
