Part-Time Baker 2am to 12pm (Monday/Tuesday) (Coquitlam)

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a part-time baker/pastry chef on Monday and Tuesdays from 2am to 12pm. (20 hours per week). Could move into full time down the road as we grow. Responsibilities - Roll out, cut and fry doughnuts as per Doughnut Love specifications. - Decorate and glaze to Doughnut Love specifications and enhance visual appeal. - Prepare various food items in accordance with recipes and safety guidelines. - Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. - Prepare doughs, batters and glaze and assist with preparations - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations. - Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management. Qualifications - Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in baking or cake decorating, is preferred. (one year experience minimum) - Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. - Experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is highly desirable. - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. - Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. - Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required.
