Coast Mental Health Registered Nurse Role (Coquitlam)

Contribute to mental health care as a Registered Nurse with Coast Mental Health. This casual position focuses on trauma-informed approaches and client-centered care in a supportive housing environment. In this role, the Registered Nurse will be a crucial part of a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of the Program Director. You will engage in essential nursing duties like psychiatric assessments, crisis intervention, and pharmacotherapy to support clients facing mental health challenges. Key Responsibilities: - Provide psychiatric assessments and direct nursing care - Implement crisis intervention strategies effectively - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for client care - Maintain knowledge of community mental health resources - Develop and implement effective care plans Requirements: - Graduate from an approved nursing school - Current BCCNM registration with three years' experience - First Aid certification and Class 5 B.C.
