Procurement Coordinator
to support our procurement team and ensure the right inventory is available at the right time. Responsibilities
Provide overall administrative support to the Procurement Department, taking ownership of purchase order maintenance, document control, price audits, and returns and credits. Your day will focus on ensuring orders move on time, details are up to date, and partners are informed. Document Control
Create, manage, and confirm purchase orders for packaging and ingredients. Use planning and project management tools to create, manage, and confirm artwork updates and purchase orders for labels and shippers. Ensure purchase order documents are accurate and up to date for receiving and accounts payable. Manage and track shipments for on-time delivery. Troubleshoot material shortages or late deliveries; communicate and mitigate risks to production schedule. Manage logistics, duty, and brokerage cost tracking and posting. Handle USMCA inbound logistics requirements. Assist with change requests and non-conformance activity in Unipoint. Supplier Documentation Audit and Management
Ensure all existing and recent suppliers’ Code of Conduct is signed and updated. Participate in inspections and audit notes as required. Maintain a database to keep supplier profiles current. General Administrative Support
Log freight bills into the logistics data system weekly. Track inbound costs, validate billing charges and codes for AP. Work with Accounting to ensure accurate invoicing and material costs. Maintain purchase order files and documents. Qualifications
3 to 5 years of administrative experience in procurement, accounting, or A/P clerking. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Motivated self-starter who takes initiative. Excellent attention to detail and data execution. Proficient in Outlook and Excel. Ability to work independently and continuously improve systems. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Completion of (or working towards) a diploma or certificate in procurement, supply chain, or materials management is an asset. Salary Range
Competitive salary ranging from $49,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Perks
