Kawartha Controls is an advanced manufacturing company specializing in precision hydraulic manifolds, CNC machining, automation, and AI‑assisted manufacturing systems. We are seeking a motivated Junior Manufacturing Engineer to join our engineering and manufacturing team. This position is supported through a government‑funded employment initiative focused on innovation, technology, and early‑career technical development.Position Overview
The successful candidate will support a variety of advanced manufacturing and process improvement initiatives, including: CNC programming validation and process optimization Engineering design and CAD modeling Manufacturing costing and estimating AI‑assistant manufacturing and workflow improvementsQuality control and production documentation Automation and manufacturing data analysis Development and testing of new manufacturing processes and technologies Qualifications
Candidates should possess: A diploma or degree from a recognized post‑secondary institution in engineering, engineering technology, manufacturing, automation, robotics, physics, computer science, skilled trades, business, or a related field Strong problem‑solving and communication skills Interest in manufacturing, automation, robotics, AI, or process improvementExperience with CAD software, programming, CNC machining, or manufacturing systems is considered an asset Beneficial Experience

Full‑time position 40 hours per week Location: Omemee, Ontario Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience Eligibility Notice
This position is intended to provide early‑career experience to recent post‑secondary graduates through a Government of Canada employment funding program focused on innovation and technology‑related work experience. Applicants may be required to complete program eligibility documentation as part of the hiring process. Final program eligibility is determined by the program administrator.Application
