Student Position: Family Centre Facilitator Morrisburg

Help animate the Family Activity Centre at Upper Canada Village as a Student Facilitator. This role involves welcoming visitors and enriching their experience from June to August 2026. You will represent Upper Canada Village by explaining exhibits and leading engaging historical workshops that incorporate crafts, games, and performances. Collaborating with teams and adhering to safety protocols are essential parts of this position. Ideal candidates are knowledgeable about 19th-century Ontario and possess robust communication skills. Key Responsibilities: • Represent the Village and welcome guests • Animate historical workshops with various formats • Assist other staff and camp counsellors • Monitor safety measures consistently • Support school program activities as needed Requirements: • Positive communication, especially with kids • Team-oriented with workshop leadership experience • Familiarity with Ontario's 19th-century history • Willingness to learn about the Centre and policies • Valid first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one Make a lasting impact on guests while sharing the rich history of Upper Canada Village.
