Estimating Coordinator Gaucher Excavation Ltd. – Cornwall, ON Full‑time About Us Gaucher Excavation Ltd. is a well‑established excavation company serving Eastern Ontario. We are expanding our team and looking for a motivated individual to help grow our commercial presence, strengthen client relationships, and support our bidding and estimating operations. Position Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented and professional Estimating Coordinator. This role is responsible for identifying bid opportunities, building relationships with commercial clients and general contractors, and assisting with the preparation of RFQs, tenders, and contract documents. Experience in construction estimating or project coordination is an asset. Key Responsibilities - Identify and track new bid opportunities across Eastern Ontario - Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, general contractors, and industry partners - Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents - Assist in preparing RFQs, bids, proposals, and cost estimates - Use Bluebeam to review plans, perform takeoffs, and organize project documents - Coordinate with internal teams to gather pricing, schedules, and project details - Maintain organized bid files and follow‑up schedules - Represent Gaucher Excavation professionally in all communications Qualifications - Experience in construction, estimating, project coordination, or business development (asset, not required) - Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications - Familiarity with Bluebeam, RFQs, and contract documents - Strong communication and relationship‑building skills - Organized, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently - Valid driver’s licence Advantages - Opportunities for advancement - Supportive team environment - Training available for the right candidate How to Apply Please submit your resume through Indeed.
