Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Responsible for fitting and welding of stainless steels, titanium and zirconium parts using any welding process, primarily TIG. - Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a Welding Procedure Specification - Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements - Use any welding process to weld a variety of materials and equipment based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings - Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards set forth by the company - Assemble items as instructed by a supervisor, blueprints and/or drawings - Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities - Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task - Work with others to maximize productivity and efficiency - Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually (up to 50 lbs), or using a hoist - Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers Qualifications: (experience needed and education) - High school degree or trade school required - At least 3 years of TIG welding experience is required - Experience with stainless steel as a minimum is required, titanium and/or zirconium highly preferred - Experience with all welding processes, TIG welding highly preferred.
