General Labourer/helper Sheet Metal Division Cornwall

JOB PURPOSE Houde Mechanical Inc Labourers/Helpers assist skilled tradespersons and perform labouring activities in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES Move tools, equipment, and other materials to and from work areas Assist in repairing, maintaining, and installing refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning equipment, and sheet metal equipment Work safely and adequately at all times and from heights Take accurate measurements and action them appropriately Maintain a tidy work setting Adhere to all safety policies and procedures REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Valid G Driver’s License WHMIS Certification Working at Heights Certification AODA Training Health and Safety Training WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday; 7 :00 a.m. to 3 :30 p.m. on Friday. Personal protective equipment must be worn at all times. This job requires frequent heavy lifting, bending, twisting, and standing.
