Dairy Farm Worker (Martintown)

Job overview We are seeing a reliable and hardworking dairy farm worker to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with daily operations on a dairy farm, ensuring the health and well-being of livestock and maintaining high standards of milk production, milk quality and farm cleanliness. Key Responsibilities - milking cows using manual milking systems - monitoring animal health and reporting concerns - feeding and caring for dairy cattle - cleaning and maintaining barns and milking equipment - assisting with calving and herd management - following all biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety protocols - maintaining accurate farm records as required Requirements - previous experience in dairy farming or agriculture is an asset - ability to work independently and as part of a team - physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 25kg and work in various weather conditions - willingness to work flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekends - basic english commmunication skills - valid drivers license is an asset Work conditions - fast-paced, physically demanding environment - exposure to animals, dust, odours and varying temperatures - rural location, transportation may be required.
