Summary Reporting into the Shop Foreman/Supervisor, the role involves maintaining and repairing equipment in the company’s maintenance and repair shop.
Primary Scope Of Role
Making field service calls to repair.
Troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain passenger vehicles, heavy trucks&trailers on site and within the shop.
Position Requirements
Experience with GM, Ford pickups&Kenworth trucks will be an asset.
310T Truck and Coach Technician Certification.
310T Level 2 / Level 3&310S are welcome to apply.
Automotive experience preferred but not required.
Willing to work on equipment, trucks and small engines as required.
A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
Understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components.
Safety certification inspections.
Comfortable using a computer, the internet, and other electronic resources.
Must have Mechanical and mathematic aptitude.
Should be physically fit.
Must have own tools.
10-hour shifts.
Work may involve weekends and overtime as required.
Outcome focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.
Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.
Superb communication and interpersonal skill.
Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.
What We Offer
Expected Base Salary: $38.50 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
