Prepare budget estimates for work costs. Design ventilation systems, source extraction, plumbing, compressed air, steam, and fire protection in industrial environments. Perform heating and cooling load calculations. Prepare plans and write specifications, addenda, and directives. Review and seal plans prepared by technicians. Write studies and technical reports. Coordinate design with other disciplines and the project team. Monitor the execution of work carried out by contractors. How to thrive in this role? You hold a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. You bring a minimum of 3 years of direct qualified experience in designing and executing building mechanical projects. You are a member of the Ordre des ingnieurs du Qubec (OIQ). You demonstrate excellent analytical, problemsolving, and prioritization skills. You show strong interpersonal abilities and you thrive in teamwork environments. You possess solid knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor. You hold an ASP construction card.
