The Production Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring the quality in the repair facility is maintained and delivery target dates are achieved while working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facilities KPIs.Key Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) planPlan daily production schedule to maximize efficiency and maintain cycle time goalsRun production meeting to communicate priorities to staffPerform in-process quality control checks to ensure company standards are metImmediately identify and address any quality issues or production delaysPerform final quality inspection prior to delivery of the vehicle to customerOther duties may be assignedThe Production Manager ensures that the customers’ vehicles are repaired on time, exceeding Gerber Collision’s quality expectations and the customers’ needs.Education and/or Experience RequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalentProven experience in a collision repair environment or similar role3 years experienceRequired Skills/AbilitiesSelf Motivated and decision making skillsEffectively operate in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating multi-tasking ability while working under pressureTime Management Skills - Must be able to meet deadlinesGive Direction in a team environmentAbility to interpret work scope from vehicle estimates or work ordersCustomer Service Oriented and strong organizational skillsComprehensive knowledge of vehicle repair practicesCommunicate effectively, both verbally and in writingStrong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracyThe Production Manager is committed to being a dedicated Brand Ambassador of Gerber Collision at all times.Other RequirementsValid Driver’s LicenseFrequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift in excess of 50lbs of materialsI-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)Please note, this is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
