SLON Signs — Saint-Laurent, QC SLON Signs is looking for a Welder / General Laborer to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position within a signage and metal fabrication company. The role involves assisting with fabrication, welding, assembly, material handling, and general shop operations. Position Type - Full time - Permanent - In-person Main Responsibilities - MIG welding - Grinding, cutting, drilling, and material preparation - Assisting with fabrication and assembly - General shop labor and production support - Loading/unloading materials - Preparing jobs for production and installation - Maintaining a clean and organized workspace - Following safety procedures and production standards Requirements - Previous welding or fabrication experience preferred - Experience with shop tools and equipment - Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment - Ability to lift heavy materials when required - Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented - Positive attitude and willingness to learn - Ability to work independently and within a team Assets - Experience in metal fabrication or signage manufacturing - Forklift experience - Driver’s license - Bilingual (French and English) Work Environment - Manufacturing and fabrication shop environment - Combination of welding, fabrication, assembly, and general labor tasks Please note that the responsibilities listed above are not exhaustive and may evolve over time based on company needs and operational growth.
