Den här positionen rapporterar till: Service Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as commissioning lead for high complex projects. Each day, you will ensure completion of all commissioning activities effectively and cost-efficiently and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by providing technical solutions to meet current and emerging business and customer requirements. You will be mainly accountable for: Provide on-site or remote technical support for installation and commissioning and conduct routine maintenance autonomously on Excitation Systems, Static Frequency Starters and Synchronizing equipment. Assist in continuous improvement of project design, participating in project review meetings, and providing input on commissioning activities. Coordinate activities focused on customer acceptance. Provide quality Operation and Maintenance training to customers. Qualifications for the role A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Applicants from the IGEE program would be highly considered). Experience in field services, working as field service engineer with Power Generation and Power Electronics experience would be an asset. Sound knowledge and interests in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing of Power Electronics equipment. Strong understanding of Software and Control Systems and PID Control/Calibration. Proven leadership skills, with a team-oriented, solutions-oriented approach and strong verbal and written communication skills in English. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis. Current Passport/Work Permit and driver's license valid in Canada and United States of America and ability to travel within Canada and to the United States of America. Why ABB?
