Job Description: The Production Technician will work under the supervision of the production supervisor on Scale-Up, Technical Transfer and production of newly developed formulations of Oral Thin Film (OTF) pharmaceutical products. The Production Technician will assist the production team for all daily activities involved in the manufacturing, packaging, and equipment cleaning in the production of OTF pharmaceutical products. The Production Technician will also assist in the development and maintenance of systems to ensure manufacturing control and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance within technical operations areas. Job Responsibilities: - Operate the equipment necessary to produce and package pharmaceutical (ODF) films - Perform in-process check testing during manufacturing and packaging processes - Complete cleaning of pharmaceutical production equipment and rooms - Perform weighing and sampling activities - Prepare and review batch records - Prepare deviation and investigation reports - Review and update standard operating procedures (SOP’s), manufacturing instructions and equipment and facility log books - Ensure the compliance of technical operations with GMP requirements - Communicate essential information to others within the company - Participate in assigned projects, as needed Job Requirements: - College/technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline from a Canadian college or university or equivalent - French / English - Internship or work experience in a GMP environment in food, pharmaceuticals or cosmetics - Basic knowledge of GMP’s - 3 years experience in pharma - Leadership and organizational skills - Communication and writing skills - Day and night shifts Please send your application through Indeed or directly to , Hiring Manager for the position.
