Do you want to take on challenges, surpass yourself and innovate?Your Responsibilities:As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be a key technical pillar and play a critical role in the success of projects. Your responsibilities will include:Engineering and DesignParticipate in the definition, planning, and development of concepts (conceptual, preliminary, and detailed engineering).Establish design bases and technical criteria for projects.Perform or supervise:mass and energy balances,process simulations,P&ID development,hydraulic calculations,equipment and piping selection and sizing,pressure safety valve (PSV) sizing and specification. Quality and CoordinationEnsure the technical quality of process deliverables.Mentor junior and intermediate process engineers.Coordinate interdisciplinary activities and ensure technical consistency across teams.Work closely with project managers and clients. Management and Client RelationsPlan and monitor hour budgets, schedules, and deliverables.Contribute to business development for clients in Eastern Canada.Act as the main point of contact for certain clients on process-related matters.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Chemical EngineeringMember of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)Minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil & gas sector (refining)Experience in consulting engineering or project execution is an assetAbility to manage a portfolio of small to large-scale projects with fast turnaround (typically 6 to 16 weeks)Bilingual: French and English (spoken and written) is an assetAvailability for occasional travel within Canada (a few days up to 2 weeks)You are the ideal candidate if you have:A passion for technical work and process designStrong proficiency with simulation software (HYSYS)An interest in mentoring junior engineersStrong ability to work in multidisciplinary teamsExcellent communication skills, natural leadership, and strong ownershipEase in interacting with clientsFamiliarity with process safety concepts (Management of Change, What-If, HAZOP, LOPA)Do you want to have fun while experiencing something current?
