Co-op Student, Corporate Data Request Program - Fall 2026 Advantages Retirement Planning Program Generous vacation days for permanent and long-term contracts Work-life balance Learning and Professional Development Program Flexible advantages program from your first day on the job for permanent and long-term contracts What you’ll do Review SAE outputs and ensure privacy and security requirements are met Communicate with SAE users regarding their outputs Use technical tools such as Python, R, and the Eclipse De-identification Tool to prepare and validate data requests Assist with coordination, collaboration, communication, monitoring, reporting and documentation activities Actively participate in problem‑solving and coming up with solutions Execute solutions such as those associated with vetting SAE outputs, process improvement documentation and validating data requests What you’ll bring to the table Working towards an undergraduate or a graduate degree in health studies, health informatics, epidemiology, statistics or mathematics that requires co‑op as part of the educational requirement Proficient with office suite Understanding of data and quantitative analysis Knowledge of technical tools such as Python, or R is an asset Ability to communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders both verbally and written Initiative driven and go‑getter attitude At CIHI we are committed to fostering an inclusive, barrier‑free and accessible setting.
