Overview

The Lester B. Pearson School Board is looking for student supervisors to work in our lunch program. Approximately one hour per day– varies by school. A temporary lay-off occurs during the summer period. Apply to get invited to a screening and find out more information. Schedule

1‑2 hour per day during the school's lunch hour (varies depending on school schedule). Nature of the Work

The employee in this class of employment supervises groups of 20‑25 students in the school and its buildings during the designated lunch hour to ensure that rules are observed and that students are safe. Qualifications

Hold a Secondary School Diploma or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority, and have one (1) year of pertinent experience which demonstrates a passion to work with children. AND Hold a certificate dated no more than three (3) years attesting to the successful completion of:A standard first aid course of a minimum eight (8)-hour duration; A refresher course of a minimum six (6)-hour duration updating the skills acquired in the course mentioned in subparagraph.
