Recreation Programmer - Long-Term Care (Ahuntsic)

In this role, you will contribute to enhancing the social, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of residents at Perley Health. You will create and evaluate various recreation programs while ensuring effective documentation and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: • Create individual and group recreational activities for residents • Plan and deliver diverse recreation programs tailored to needs • Use PointClickCare and ActivityPro for documentation • Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team • Maintain a positive environment focused on resident care Requirements: • 2-year College Diploma in Recreation/Leisure Studies or related • Previous experience in long-term care, specifically with dementia • Current Food Handler's Certificate, can be obtained during hiring • Robust communication skills in English; French is beneficial Make a difference in residents' lives with engaging activities at Perley Health.
