IOS/tvOS Developer with CNN Team (Ahuntsic)

Be a pivotal part of CNN's Mobile and CTV Engineering Teams as a Senior Software Developer. Shape mobile applications, mentor others, and influence the technical strategy at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a Senior Developer, you will focus on building high-performance iOS and tvOS apps while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will guide the existing development while you tackle challenges in app architecture and user experience. This role enables you to help less experienced developers grow and succeed. Key Responsibilities: • Build elegant and user-friendly mobile applications • Extend software tools for the production pipeline • Work cross-functionally to implement consumer-facing solutions • Conduct debugging and root cause analysis • Provide mentorship to junior developers Requirements: • BS/MS in computer science or equivalent • 5+ years of development experience in mobile technologies • Strong command of Swift and Objective-C • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Deliver creative CNN applications that engage news audiences and push technological boundaries.
