Description
Systems Developer – Agentic AI & AWS As the tech firm that created the mobile world, Ericsson has spent over a century pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Now we’re entering a new phase, where agentic and generative AI are transforming how we build products, run operations, and collaborate. We’re looking for a Systems Developer – Agentic AI & AWS who wants to be part of that journey. You’ll join a team focused on evolving our processes, workflows, and ways of working using agentic AI, working hands on with AWS and modern AI technologies to make a tangible impact on how we operate every day. What you will do Understand how we work today Map and document existing workflows and ways of working with your team. Spot repetitive tasks, bottlenecks, and decision points where AI can add value. Help define simple, measurable goals for improvements (e.g., cycle time, quality, effort). Design and prototype agentic AI solutions. Contribute to the design of agentic workflows where AI agents interact with people, tools, and data. Implement and test smaller agent capabilities (tool integrations, RAG flows, prompt logic) under guidance. Follow our guidelines for security, data privacy, and responsible AI. Experiment, test and iterate. Help run PoCs and experiments, collect feedback and data, and propose improvements. Write and run automated tests for agent behaviour and integrations. Support change & adoption. Prepare simple user guides, demos, and walkthroughs for new agentic workflows. Capture user feedback and issues and feed them into the backlog. Act as a “power user” and advocate for smarter, AI‑enabled ways of working in your team. The skills you bring Bachelor’s, Masters or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer/Computing Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Agentic & generative AI knowledge. Good understanding of agentic AI concepts, such as: Tool using agents (function/API calling) Basic multi agent patterns (specialised agents collaborating on a task) Retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and knowledge grounded answers Hands on exposure through courses, thesis work, hackathons, internships, or personal projects using large language models or other generative AI (for example, building assistants, automating workflows, or code helpers). AWS and cloud fundamentals Core services like EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch. How to combine multiple services into simple end‑to‑end solutions. Lab work, cloud projects, or AWS certifications (e.g., Cloud Practitioner / Associate) are a strong plus. Engineering skills Solid programming skills in at least one language, preferably Python, with clean, maintainable code. Basic experience with REST APIs or similar integration patterns. Git and cooperative development. Testing and debugging. Mindset & ways of working Genuine interest in improving how teams work, not just building technology for its own sake. Comfortable working in agile, cross‑functional teams, asking questions, and seeking feedback. Structured, analytical approach to problem solving. Clear written and spoken communication in English. It’s a plus if you also Have tried any agentic AI / orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen, custom multi‑agent setups). Have participated in open‑source work or hackathons related to AI or cloud. Have some familiarity with telecom, RAN, or Ericsson’s domains (nice to have, not required).
