Store Manager – The Shoe Co. We’re looking for a Store Manager who will lead the store environment, coach and motivate a team, and drive sales and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities - Assumes leadership role with accountability for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences. - Facilitates achievement of business results by role modelling a shopping experience that encourages uniquely responsive customer service and compelling merchandise presentation. - Lead an operationally sound business by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling. - Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who have a love of shoes. - Achieves company objectives and enhances The Shoe Co. brand image by modeling our values of passion, accountability, collaboration, and authenticity/humility. - Develops and implements agile business plans to achieve results. - Fosters teamwork, collaboration and change advocacy within the store and district. - Maintains effective, open lines of communication with senior operational managers. Qualifications - Educational background: relevant post‑secondary education. - Minimum 4 years of experience in a progressive retail supervisory role. - Proven success in the achievement of sales and profitability targets in large volume top‑doors. - Positive and energetic team player with strong leadership capability. - Proven ability to motivate others. - Proficiency in computer use, including e‑mail, MS Word or other word‑processing program and Excel or other spreadsheet programs. - Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while also being committed to creating a compelling customer experience. - Ability to work days, closing shifts and weekends. - Mobile within a geographic area.
