What You’ll Do We are looking for an experienced and skilled Spa Massage Therapist to join our spa team for the season. The primary focus of this role is delivering high-quality massage treatments. Additional responsibilities include body exfoliations, body wraps and facials. Massage experience is a must. However, we can provide training for all other services. This is a seasonal, onsite position that runs from May to October. Onsite staff accommodation and meals provided at $25/per day. This is a unique opportunity to work in a remote, wellness-focused setting centered around relaxation, healing, and mindfulness. Key Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality massage treatments tailored to individual guest needs, ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and relaxing experience - Perform additional spa services including body exfoliations, body wraps, and facials (training provided as needed) - Conduct thorough client consultations to assess needs, preferences, and any contraindications prior to treatments - Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment space in accordance with health, safety, and hygiene standards - Complete daily operational tasks including opening and closing procedures, laundry, and general spa upkeep - Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all spa areas, including treatment rooms, washrooms, and showers - Provide exceptional guest service by creating a calm, welcoming, and qualified environment from arrival to departure - Educate guests on wellness, self-care practices, and recommend appropriate treatments and retail products - Support retail sales through product knowledge and thoughtful recommendations (without being pushy) - Collaborate with the spa team to ensure smooth daily operations and a cohesive guest experience - Adhere to all spa policies, procedures, and professional standards of practice - Maintain accurate treatment records and client notes where required - Contribute to a positive team culture aligned with a wellness-focused, respectful, and supportive environment - Be adaptable and willing to assist with general spa operations as needed in a remote setting What You Bring Qualifications - Certified/licensed massage therapist (RMT not required, but considered an asset) - Strong hands-on experience in massage therapy (this is the top priority) - Willingness to learn facials and additional spa treatments - Professional, positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills Physical Requirements - Ability to work in a remote setting - Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds What We Offer - Hourly wage: $27 per hour - 15% commission on spa services - 5% commission on retail sales - Staff accommodation and meals provided at a rate of $25/per day How to Apply Send your resume and cover letter to and tell us what makes you the perfect fit for this role and why you’re excited to join the Wahous Wilderness Lodge team.
