Proposal and Marketing Specialist, Courtenay

Job Summary Trinity Consultants Canada, a leading environmental consultancy, is looking for a dedicated and diligent Proposal and Marketing Specialist to join our Water&Ecology team. The role will support business development and marketing activities in a hybrid setting based in any Canadian office.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the preparation and submission of high‑quality proposals, tenders, and expressions of interest.

Support the internal proposal team by scheduling and attending meetings, recording action items, and tracking milestones.

Maintain client and opportunity details in CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and accountability.

Assist in tracking and supporting business development initiatives and scanning specified websites to identify new opportunities.

Support conference and event coordination, including logistics, materials, and on‑site needs.

Develop engaging content for proposals, presentations, social media, marketing materials, and internal/external communications.

Translate complex technical ideas into compelling graphics, presentations, and messaging in collaboration with technical and project teams.

Provide administrative and coordination support across departmental functions.

Track, report, and maintain documentation for business development and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Direct experience supporting business development (proposals, tenders, CRM management).

Experience in marketing coordination and content development.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Professional; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite an asset.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Self‑motivated, creative, and collaborative team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Background in biology, chemistry, or environmental science considered an asset.
