Childcare Development Facilitator, Powell River

Lead early childhood programs as a Childcare Development Facilitator. Use your knowledge of children's development to provide engaging, nurturing activities for ages 0-6.

This role is designed for those passionate about early childhood education. You will be responsible for planning and executing developmentally appropriate activities, managing children's safety, and fostering communication with families. Collaborating with the Indigenous Supported Child Development team will be critical to support each child's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:• Create and implement age-appropriate learning activities • Monitor classroom activities and children's safety • Maintain open communication with families and caregivers • Support cultural aspects within programming • Keep accurate records of attendance and child observations

Requirements:• Completion of a recognized Early Childhood Education program • Experience in licensed childcare preferred • Successful Criminal Record Check required • CPR and First Aid certification needed • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
