Part-Time Inpatient Physician at WCGH (Port Alberni)

Become a valued member of the CHIP team at West Coast General Hospital as a part-time Inpatient Physician. Deliver quality patient care and consultative services across various settings. In this part-time role, you will provide comprehensive care to unattached inpatients at WCGH. Responsibilities include daily patient rounding, discharge planning, and urgent response management for admitted patients. Additionally, offer consult services to ambulatory clinics and engage in virtual outreach to rural communities. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct MRP services from 0700 to 2200 as needed - Respond to urgent calls during assigned hours - Perform patient evaluations and treatment plans - Facilitate service transfers and inter-facility repatriations - Collaborate closely with allied champions in healthcare Requirements: - Medical degree with required certifications - Proven experience in inpatient care - Strong communication skills for team collaboration - Ability to adapt to wide-ranging healthcare settings - Flexibility in schedule for evening and holiday shifts This position provides an excellent opportunity to shape health outcomes while working within a dedicated hospital environment.
