As a key member of our mechanical team, you will join a group of skilled professionals dedicated to constructing small to midsize mechanical and infrastructure projects. Position Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and qualified Ticketed Plumber or Pipefitter to enhance our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our construction projects and contribute to the continued success and growth of Ridgeline Mechanical Ltd. Projects You Will Be Working On: - Commercial plumbing - Boiler and heating upgrades - Gas piping - Pump stations and water treatment plants - Cutting, grooving and threading pipe Key Responsibilities: - Execute plumbing tasks in accordance with industry standards. - Interpret and proficiently read blueprints to ensure accurate project implementation. - Install waterlines, drainage/venting systems, and fixtures with precision and efficiency. - Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address challenges effectively. - Collaborate effectively with team members while also being capable of working independently. - Willingness to occasionally work out of town to support project requirements. - Maintain a valid driver's license. Qualifications: - Valid trade qualification (TQ) in Pipefitting or Plumbing. - B Gas ticket is an asset. - Experience in pipe fit-up and layout - Fluent in reading and interpreting blueprints. - Proven experience in the installation of waterlines, drainage/venting, and fixtures. - Successful completion of a criminal record check. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. - Willingness to travel as needed. - Valid driver's license.
