The VIRL is looking to fill a Casual Library Assistant role to support its branches. Under the supervision of the Circulation Supervisor, you will be tasked with clerical duties that align with the library’s mission and standards. Your communication skills and customer-focused approach will help enhance the library experience for patrons of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:• Complete clerical tasks assigned by the Circulation Supervisor • Assist library users in accessing materials and resources • Promote the use of both print and online information • Follow library policies and procedures under management supervision • Support the overall operations ofthe branch team

Requirements:• High school diploma (Grade 12 or equivalent) • Proficient in oral and written communication • Comfortable working with individuals of all ages • Basic knowledge of technology and library resources • Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check required
