Civil Project Manager (Courtenay)

As a key member of the construction team, you will be part of a dynamic group of construction professionals constructing small to midsize mechanical, civil and infrastructure projects. We are currently looking to hire a Project Manager to help manage our Civil Projects. This Role Includes: · Be the point of contact between owner/engineer/GC and Ridgeline for the course of the construction. · Helping create, tracking and maintain schedules · Managing and tracking shop drawings · Tracking and help prepare change orders and coordination with the field staff and estimator · Placing and coordinating material orders and deliveries · Coordinating sub-contractors · Help assist with tendering process · Compile operation and maintenance manuals. Skills: · Experience with the install and Repairs of underground Water, Sewer, Storm, Electrical and Hydro. · Experience with excavating and backfilling · Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings · Ability to complete material takeoffs from drawings · Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, project, bluebeam · Works well in a team environment · Time management skills · Organized · Ability to organize priorities based on deadlines · Ability to come up with systems to streamline processes · Problem solver Education: · High school diploma or equivalent · Direct work experience in a project coordination capacity Job Type: · Permanent full time career Benefits: · Extended health after 3 months · Paid ongoing training and development courses Schedule: · Monday to Friday in Courtenay Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Reports directly to the Civil Construction Manager Work Location: In person Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $47.00-$52.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: - Casual dress - Extended health care - On-site parking - Profit sharing - RRSP match Experience: - Project Manager : 3 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Drivers License (required) Location: - Courtenay, BC V9N 3R1 (preferred) Willingness to travel: - 25% (preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Courtenay, BC V9N 3R1 Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pjk1z
