Server/bartender Berwick

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable dining and drinking experience. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued. Duties Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the bar and tables Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction Handle cash transactions, process payments, and operate cash registers with proper cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards Restock supplies as needed, including glassware, utensils, and beverages Ensure responsible serving of alcohol following all legal regulations and company policies Assist in food handling, serving, and clearing tables efficiently Skills Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms Robust knowledge of food industry standards, food safety, and food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and skilled demeanor Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining quality service Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and calculating bills or tips Knowledge of hospitality best practices to create a welcoming environment Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members seamlessly Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific procedures This position offers an engaging work workplace where your hospitality skills can shine.
