Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a solid understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical systems, and construction processes to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The Service Plumber will work closely with clients and team members to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions efficiently. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in various settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute projects accurately Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete installations and repairs Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate project completion Conduct inspections to identify plumbing issues and determine appropriate corrective actions Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all operations Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related systems as needed Maintain detailed records of work performed for client files and company documentation Requirements Proven experience with plumbing systems in residential or commercial environments Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for commercial driving responsibilities if required Ability to lift heavy materials safely and work in physically demanding conditions Solid problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members Commitment to safety procedures and building code compliance Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour Advantages: Dental care Disability insurance Extended health care Life insurance Vision care Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pmueu
