Senior HR Advisor – ADP Canada (Dartmouth) ADP is hiring a Senior HR Advisor for ADP Canada in Dartmouth. You will collaborate with our extended HR team and business leaders in the administration, coordination and implementation of key operational processes to ensure operational excellence in the delivery of HR programs and continuous improvement initiatives. As a Senior HR Advisor, you will support HR operational effectiveness by ensuring transactions are executed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner, while monitoring and evaluating current HR processes and programs to maximize service delivery. You will join a stellar HR team at a global Fortune 250 company and grow your career and job satisfaction in the process. Responsibilities Ownership of Critical HR processes . Coordinate & administer critical processes related to employee lifecycle events (e.g., transfers, promotions, relocation, retirement, leaves & accommodations), including coordinating workflows between various HR sub‑functions. Partner Internally . Work with Corporate ADP, Employment Law and HR Business Partners to achieve compliance objectives and embed compliance standards into HR operations and management in Canada. Lead assigned projects & compliance programs (e.g., Health & Safety) to mitigate compliance risks, leveraging templates, tools and metrics. Leverage Data for Maximum Impact . Use analytical skills to leverage data from multiple sources to uncover and communicate insights related to HR programs and operations (e.g., Exit Interviews, Culture Surveys). Facilitate Learning . Own and facilitate ADP Canada’s New Hire Onboarding Program. HR Leadership . Act as HR site representative and member of the local site leadership team. Educating Leaders & Associates . Manage/coordinate HR, associate and leader key resource content on ADP’s internal intranet site and prepare and implement HR’s Quarterly Leader/Associate Communications. Continuous Improvement . Collaborate with business teams, peers in HR and shared services HR organization to drive continuous improvement of HR practices and processes, ensuring a unified and seamless HR delivery approach to internal clients. Undertake other projects and duties as assigned. Required Qualifications 3+ years HR generalist experience within a mid‑to‑large matrixed global organization and Shared Services environment. Clear communication – balanced perspective and audience‑appropriate presentation for front‑line associates, peers or senior leaders. Collaboration – values a supportive team and builds strong cross‑functional relationships. Preferred Qualifications HR Designation/Certification; College or University Degree in Human Resources or Business. Bilingual in English and French‑Canadian. Digital fluency, including technological tools and concepts, social media savvy and intermediate knowledge of Excel. Solid bias for action and keen sense of urgency.
