5 Ton Truck Driver Delta

Job Overview Seeking a reliable and experienced 5 ton city Truck Driver to fill my owner/operator/agent position with Rosedale Transport. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning and safely operating a single axle 5 ton commercial truck to deliver goods, mostly flooring products, efficiently and on time in the B.C. Lower Mainland. This role requires robust attention to CVSE safety protocols and delivery and pickup BOL's and POD's. The Truck Driver will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely deliveries and excellent service. This is a Full Time, Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM position. No weekend or over time work involved. Duties Safely operate trucks for local deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and ensuring proper securing of loads Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and requirements Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and documentation for each trip Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries Dock to dock, tailgate and curbside deliveries only with No heavy lifting or carrying of freight inside buildings, stores or homes. Experience Prior experience in commercial driving, warehouse and logistics operations or related fields is mandatory. Solid communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Experience with moving heavy loads ( 12000 lbs) safely and efficiently Knowledge of warehouse procedures and safety standards is advantageous This position offers an prospect to become part of a large, national, family run business that treats hard working, loyal and dedicated associates like family.
