Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a solid mechanical background who are detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving. The Maintenance Technician plays a vital part in maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency across our facility. Duties - Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment: Chillers Air compressors Process pumps Part picking robots Mold heaters 6~20 zones Material blenders Material Conveyor System Vacuum pumps Forklifts - Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs promptly to minimize downtime - Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment - Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation of repairs performed - Assist in installation of new equipment or upgrades as needed - Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies - Collaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance schedules without disrupting operations - Respond quickly to emergency repair requests to restore functionality - Preventative Maintenance: elaborate and adhere to schedule, maintain proper documentation and perform routine maintenance on all machines - Perform basic facility maintenance and repairs as requested i.e. doors, electrical, minor fabrication (welding, lathe work…) - Procurement of maintenance supplies, spare parts, and tools; including but not limited to managing inventory levels of spare parts - Coordinate repairs with external contractors as needed - Maintain and organize maintenance shop Experience - Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing environment - Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently - Comprehensive knowledge and experience with hydraulic systems, basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance and repair. - Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc. - Experience operating power tools safely and effectively - Familiarity with basic electrical systems is a plus but not required - Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute their technical skills in a dynamic work environment. Candidates should be proactive, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
