BC Distribution Centre - Warehouse Associate (Delta)

Job Description Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks and containers Pack and unpack goods for shipping and receiving Use of forklift, pallet trucks and shipping carts Inspect all incoming shipments for condition and verify accuracy against purchase orders Distribute received shipments to respective departments within the warehouse Process outgoing shipments to suppliers and other Long & McQuade locations Work with standard shipping documents and online shipping systems Maintain shipping logs and properly file all paperwork Keep shipping/receiving area clean and organized and ensure compliance with health and safety standards Provide assistance to co-workers in stocking and restocking merchandise, and general housekeeping This is a physical job that requires lifting and moving merchandise for the duration of a shift. Job Requirements Must be a musician who plays at least one instrument Enjoy working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs Solid organizational and time management skills Ability to excel in a self-directed work environment Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer literacy and arithmetic skills Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2od197
