Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

– Ensure safe, reliable operation of heavy industrial equipment. Responsibilities

Assign and coordinate work orders in accordance with the designated planning flow process. Assess work priority, develop work scopes, and coordinate maintenance tasks. Maintain and improve equipment reliability through effective maintenance and equipment upgrades. Gather accurate estimates of repair time, crew size, and costs of repair.Investigate equipment failures and troubleshoot problems, responding to emergency situations on a 24/7 basis. Qualifications

Red Seal Millwright Journeyman certification or equivalent mechanical trade certification. Solid understanding of safe work practices and safety regulations. Supervisory experience in cement manufacturing environment preferred. Unionized environment experience preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Basic computer skills. Benefits
