Be part of the BC Ferries team as an Intermediate Structural Engineer focused on maintaining terminal operations with a marine structural emphasis. Play a key role in ensuring operational reliability across diverse locations. This position focuses on delivering technical oversight and supporting the Maintenance Engineering team. You will handle inspections, guide engineering projects, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Your work will directly contribute to the strategic performance of terminal assets. Key Responsibilities: Lead terminal condition inspections and evaluations Conduct thorough code and safety compliance reviews Assist in managing maintenance workflows and priorities Develop and revise technical standards for operations Participate in training for engineering standards and practices Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering A minimum of 7 years of relevant engineering experience Expertise in Marine Structural or Bridge Engineering is advantageous Eligible for Skilled Engineer registration Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license Utilize your engineering expertise to drive safety and reliability in BC Ferries’ terminal infrastructure.
