Maintenance Supervisor (Delta)

Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor – Ensure safe, reliable operation of heavy industrial equipment. Responsibilities - Assign and coordinate work orders in accordance with the designated planning flow process. - Assess work priority, develop work scopes, and coordinate maintenance tasks. - Maintain and improve equipment reliability through effective maintenance and equipment upgrades. - Gather accurate estimates of repair time, crew size, and costs of repair. - Investigate equipment failures and troubleshoot problems, responding to emergency situations on a 24/7 basis. Qualifications - Red Seal Millwright Journeyman certification or equivalent mechanical trade certification. - Solid understanding of safe work practices and safety regulations. - Supervisory experience in cement manufacturing environment preferred. - Unionized setting experience preferred. - Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. - Basic computer skills.
