Production Associate Packaging Operator Afternoon Shift Delta

RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures the final product net weight is above the required packaged weight with the correct code date. Ensures that broken, cracked, or chipped corner tofu is not packaged. Works together with the Packaging Team Lead to ensure labels or films are centred on the packages and are sealed with no leaks. Leakers and unaligned film packages are to be kept separately in large baskets. Ensures all products are stacked on positive, correct type of pallets and meet the “ti hi” requirement. Ensures that all equipment is properly sanitized as GMP requires before production starts Reports workers’ conflicts and concerns to the leadership team immediately so that follow-up action can be taken in a timely manner Works with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order Trains and mentors fellow employees to increase their skill level in all activities Observes and follows company safety rules and regulations Other duties as assigned by the leadership team. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Ability to work in a quick-paced environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Exceptional communication and team-building skills WORKING CONDITIONS Work is mainly performed in the production plant Permanent Full-Time position WHY WORK WITH US?
