Take on a physically engaging role as a Production Associate on our steel fabrication team located in Surrey, BC. Offering $25.00/hour, this role involves hands-on responsibilities. We are in search of a diligent Production Associate for our steel fabrication operations in the Port Kells area. This position centers on working with steel and rebar materials, assisting with shipping and receiving duties, and executing loading and unloading tasks. You will also be responsible for operating equipment like pump trucks, so physical fitness is paramount. Key Responsibilities: - Fabricate various infrastructure products in production lines - Focus on steel and rebar materials consistently - Aid in shipping and receiving processes - Load and unload materials using both manual and mechanical methods - Operate a pump truck to facilitate heavy stock movement Requirements: - 1-2 years in a manufacturing or production environment - Prior experience with steel fabrication or rebar preferred - Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis - Must be comfortable in a warm, heavy industrial workplace Support our steel fabrication team with your dedication and hard work in Surrey!
