Router Operator / CNC Machine (Delta)

Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team processing aluminum parts for the marine industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery, programming, and quality control. This role is essential for producing precision parts and components that meet our high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities - Operate CNC routers , and press brake machines to produce high-quality components. - Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining. - Program CNC machines using sigmanest and CAD software such as SolidWorks. - Conduct quality control checks using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure specifications are met. - Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. - Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. - Utilize hand tools and basic math skills for assembly and packaging tasks as needed. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Skills - Proficiency in CNC programming and operation. - Experience operating forklifts and handling warehouse tasks. - Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing and machining processes. - Ability to read blueprints accurately and apply that knowledge in practical settings. - Competence in welding techniques is advantageous. - Experience with quality control processes to ensure product integrity. - Familiarity with basic math concepts for measurement and calculations in machining tasks. - Previous experience using SolidWorks or similar CAD software is preferred. - Solid attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
