The City of Delta offers temporary full-time seasonal positions for dedicated individuals in its Parks and Horticulture teams. You will engage in diverse tasks, enhancing parks and gardens across Ladner, North Delta, and Tsawwassen. Your role will require the operation of small machinery and a commitment to outdoor work, ensuring stunning landscapes and recreational areas.

Key Responsibilities:• Conduct planting and pruning of plants • Mow and aerate turf for healthy grass • Maintain and operate irrigation systems • Care for flower beds and manage mulching • Perform other essential groundskeeping tasks

Requirements:• Ability to work independently and efficiently • Physical fitness for heavy outdoor work • Strong interpersonal skills for community interaction • Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence • Experience in landscaping or horticulture desirable
