Architectural draftsperson (Scoudouc)

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and schematics for residential and commercial construction projects. This role requires proficiency in various CAD software, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. The Drafter will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop accurate plans that meet client specifications and industry standards. Duties - Prepare engineering designs and drawings - Read blueprints to determine work requirements - Supervise other drafting personnel - Train new drafting personnel - Develop and prepare design sketches - Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates - Write technical reports - Write specifications - Estimate costs and materials - Complete documentation packages and drawing sets - Examine drawings for conformity and errors - Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements - Leading/instructing groups Pay: $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 44.0 per week Benefits: - On-site parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ny22w
