Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a robust understanding of various painting techniques and materials. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality work, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high standard of finish in all projects. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as needed. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Rig and build scaffolding as necessary for high or hard-to-reach areas. Utilize power tools effectively for various tasks including drywall installation and repair. Restore surfaces by repairing damage and applying appropriate finishes. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project details and timelines. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects. Qualifications Proven experience in residential and commercial painting is preferred. Familiarity with drywall installation and repair techniques is a plus. Proficient in using power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality workmanship. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team workplace. Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing for long periods, and working at heights.
