Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Summer Student General Labourer to join our manufacturing team. This entry-level position offers valuable hands-on experience in a agile environment, supporting various production and assembly tasks. The role is ideal for students interested in gaining practical skills in manufacturing operations, within a fast-paced setting. Duties - Assist with the assembly of products using hand tools and power tools - Perform routine maintenance and inspections of machinery and tools - Help organize inventory and ensure proper storage of materials - Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment - Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals - Support general labour tasks as assigned by supervisors Skills - Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes - Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues - Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment effectively - Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous but not required - Strong attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented mindset - Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team - Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods This position provides an excellent opportunity for students to develop foundational skills in manufacturing while contributing to a productive team environment.
