Max Sys is currently recruiting for a full time Maintenance Worker for our client in the Amherst area. The ideal candidate will have some previous experience in a similar role held within an industrial workplace, able to work quickly and efficiently without supervision and hold a high level of initiative to ensure grounds are well maintained at all times. You will have sufficient knowledge on use of related machinery, chemicals, supplies and Material Safety Sheets. Details 40 hours per week Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm Must be available on weekends Pay Rate: $17.00/h + 4% vacation pay, paid out weekly Duties include but are not limited to: Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc) Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Opening and closing the centre Exterior litter picking Make adjustments and minor repairs Stock and maintain supply rooms Cooperate with the rest of the staff Follow all health and safety regulations Requirements Must have a clean criminal record Reliable transportation (Valid drivers licence would be an asset) Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2obxh6
